DIY Nova Garage

We started this yesterday (in the heat) and finished it this morning. I would not recommend it. The instructions were minimal and in assorted languages. It was very confusing. Between the two of us, we managed to get it put together without bloodshed. He's better with words and I'm better with diagrams, though the instructions were not helpful either way.

There is enough room for me to store some of my plant stuff or whatever I want to keep out of the elements. We put the little "Garage" right off the back steps. It will mean a little more walking, but that's a good thing. Right?

  4. It's a beautiful shed. I have one like that but unfortunately bees seem to think it's good place for nests. Every spring I have to be diligent with spray to discourage them until they find another place where they don't get harassed.

    1. I'll keep that in mind, Jean, and discourage any settling in.

  5. Very well done. I find that nearly all directions now are confusing. Trying to find English amoung the 8 or 9 other languages seems to be a chore within itself.

    1. I believe it's the the English translated to Chinese, translated to English that causes some of the confusion.

  6. A garage for your walker! What a great idea. And it's very nice looking.
I'll have to remember this when I get a walker, if I don't have room inside the house.

  7. I like that garage. I could use them for my fabric! :D I'm a diagram gal too. Trying to read instructions on anything anymore you need a degree in chinese or spanish, and how 'bout they use a print big enough to read to begin with? I look at the pics and figure it out.

    1. I've got it outside and fabric out there would get moldy in a hurry, here anyway.
It's nice to know someone spacial, most women aren't. (At least according to my drafting instructor.)

    1. It's easy to open and the lid stays up. I'm thinking of getting a microwave cart or some such to put my plant junk on.
